In Arkansas, contractors cannot legally cover, pay, offer a discount, or waive your deductible as part of an insurance claim, doing so may expose both the contractor to potential legal liability and the property owner as complicit in the fraud.
* What options do I have if I can’t afford my deductible?
Even if you can’t afford your deductible all at once, you still have options. All though paying your deductible is required, paying it all at once is not. You can ask your contractor to see if they can finance it for you
